Heyooooo. I probably ask you a lot of questions but anyways, I go to school for fashion in NYC and I commute in four days a week. I'm usually very tired when I get dressed so I just usually wear jeggings, a tank top, a flannel and running shoes. By the time I wake up fully I'm in class and I hate what I'm wearing. Do you have any wardrobe staples or quick outfits? I love your style so much and one can only try to pull off lazy teenager so much :( thank you so much!!!
I’m honestly pretty lazy sometimes when it comes to dressing up, I am a stay at home mom who has about 4 business that I run entirely from home, so that and keeping our home clean and organizing and running errands takes its toll, so sometimes I don’t really care if I’m wearing leggings a t shirt and my hair in a messy bun. Before I was a mother I never left the house like that, but being a mom = being able to get away with being lazy, well sometimes. Don’t pressure yourself into dressing up all the time, I never dressed up because i was going somewhere in particular or because of the people I was going to be around, i did it because I found it fun, so even if I was at home, a club, at lunch, I wore whatever I wanted, and got tons of crazy stares for it, but honestly my advice is to wear whatever you want, whatever makes you happy and comfortable that day. if you think you arent fashionable enough for school and want to change that for you, then just do it! When i first got into fashion in my teens I really love pairing polka dots with stripes and black/white everything. people looked at me funny and commented mean things but WHO CARES cause i usually loved what i was wearing. I dont think i ever took fashion too seriously, it was never to be cool or hot, i just knew i wanted to look like a certain character and then i did. in high school it was all about new wave/gwen stefani with a tiny but of bettie page, and now when im not being a sleepy mom/business owner, its 1960s babydoll princess wanabe nymphet. just have fun with it!! also, i noticed i was wearing nothing but my boyfriends t shirts and flannels for a while so i just got cuter “lazy” clothes for days that i dont want to be all extra cute looking and you can get away with leggings/t shirt combo if your hair and makeup is on point. jackets and cardigans kind of saved my life too. a cute jacket will make any lazy ensemble look better. plan your outfits before bed, thats what i did in high school. i could go on honestly ha!
PS i like when people ask me for advice, i like helping people, i was a lost little bambi of a soul once too(still am!)
